“MAKE ME A MILLIONAIRE” PLAYERS SCARE UP PLENTY IN PRIZE MONEY
October 31, 2009
SACRAMENTO - "Make Me a Millionaire," the California Lottery’s TV game show, awarded 12 lucky contestants a total of $119,500 in cash and prizes on this week’s show.
Rosemarie Kratz, a cashier from Apple Valley, said she is using her $50,000 prize as a down payment on a house and to help her family. She’ll put anything left over in the bank.
Lee Enright, a plumber from Duarte, actually bought his ticket with a friend: “So we will be splitting anything I win today,” he explained. Enright won a new car so maybe they will just trade off driving it.
Roberto Chavez, a trash collector from Whittier, is a thoughtful son, therefore he will use his $15,000 prize to help his parents
